Commercial Drone Photography

Specialist CASA approvals, an extensive fleet and experience dating to the 1990s. Lensaloft handles the complexity so the client can focus on the result.

Beyond standard operations

Making difficult shots legal, practical and simple for the client.

Many of the most useful drone perspectives sit outside standard operating conditions. Lensaloft’s specialist approvals can open legal pathways for operations over and near people, commercial FPV under EVLOS, night, controlled or restricted airspace and flights above the standard 400 ft limit. Lensaloft then manages the airspace, site access, stakeholders, risk, aircraft and crew from planning through delivery. The client does not need to coordinate the moving parts or become an aviation specialist.

Andrew began building and flying remotely piloted rotorcraft in the 1990s, before commercial drones became commonplace. That experience has been applied to major events, live venues, CBD sites and demanding commercial productions for more than 25 years. Lensaloft was also among the early operators to secure approval for drone operations up to 1,000 ft AGL in Melbourne’s CBD.

Commercial drone photography planned around airspace, light and the required viewpoint

Applications

Drone capability across commercial environments.

Advanced capability

Approvals that create options, not paperwork for the client.

Lensaloft’s specialist CASA approvals provide legal operating pathways for shots that may not be possible under standard conditions. Their value is practical: better access, safer planning and more ways to achieve the required viewpoint without asking the client to manage the aviation.

Every operation is built around the shot, location and risk. Lensaloft handles the approvals, airspace, aircraft, crew, stakeholders and contingencies, then delivers material ready for its commercial use.
