Viewline Photography

Accurate view photography for architectural visualisation, renders, planning, marketing and development approvals.

Spectacular Views

Viewlines, render backgrounds and 360° site context.

Most clients already know the viewlines they need. Lensaloft helps translate architectural plans, elevations and sections into the right camera height, lighting, mood, position and capture approach — then produces clean, high-resolution imagery ready for visualisation, planning or marketing use. With more than 25 years of experience, Lensaloft has produced panoramic views and render backgrounds in every major Australian city.

Capabilities

Precision where it matters. Flexibility where it counts.

Viewline work starts with translating architectural documentation into a camera position that will hold up in a render, sales suite or stakeholder review. With a background in architectural drafting and 3D visualisation, Andrew can work directly from plans, elevations, sections and RLs to shape the capture approach.

From there, Lensaloft brings together height, position, platform, light and focal length to shape the mood of the final imagery, with capture and delivery planned around the way the views will ultimately be used.

01

Plan & calculate

Architectural plans, elevations, sections and RLs translated into the required eye-level camera position and capture brief.

  • Architectural documentation review
  • Wireframe camera matching
  • RL and eye-level height calculations
  • Site assessment and approvals, above 120 m where required
02

Position & reference

Specialist positioning and height-reference tools help align the camera with the documented level and intended view.

  • RTK-supported positioning
  • Laser measurement and height-reference options
  • Survey-aware workflows
  • Site control coordination where required
03

Choose the right platform

The camera is positioned using the platform that best suits the required height, access, view direction and final output.

  • Drone, EWP, blimp and structure-based capture
  • Elevated boom and helicopter options
  • Full-frame and medium-format systems
  • Gimbal-stabilised panoramic capture
04

Finish for the final use

Capture and post-production are planned around the render, planning, sales, marketing or interactive output from the beginning.

  • High-resolution stills and multi-frame panoramas
  • 360° interactive viewline production
  • Golden hour, daylight, blue hour and night capture
  • Colour-managed, HDR and render-ready delivery
